Questions about packing:
(See the "What to Bring" Page for more details):

What should I pack?

Pack lightly, because you need less than you think. We recommend collapsible, soft-sided luggage for ease of storing your bags in locks aboard. See our "What to Bring" page for more information.

What types of shoes will I need?

We adhere to a barefoot policy aboard Borrowed Bounty. It's recommended to bring sandals or flip-flops for the beach. For hiking, appropriate footwear is essential; while some trails allow flip-flops, others necessitate sturdy hiking sandals or sneakers. Heels or formal shoes are unnecessary, even in upscale restaurants. Since you'll be using a tender to reach shore, practical shoes are essential. If you prefer wearing shoes on board, please ensure they are clean with non-marking, soft soles. It's advisable to have one pair for onboard use and another for onshore activities. Wearing only socks aboard is risky as it may lead to slipping and falling.
What type of sunscreen should I bring?

Please bring a sunscreen labeled as Reef Safe. The chemicals oxbenzone, octinoxate, and octocrylene (referred to as the toxic 3 O's), along with avobenzone, commonly found in UV-blocking sunscreens, have been shown to have adverse effects on coral reefs.
In an effort to safeguard marine life, we advise you to carefully read labels and opt for formulations with zinc oxide or titanium dioxide as active ingredients. Moreover, please be aware that aerosol spray and tinted sunscreens are not permitted on the yacht.
